A career built here
Local knowledge. An uncommon eye for detail.
Dan has built in the Greater Lake Tahoe area since 1989, working alongside local contractors before spending 1993–1997 as a union set builder on movie sets across California and Nevada.
He returned with a sharper eye for craft, became a licensed General Contractor, and started Good Construction in 2000.

What gets built
One builder. Four proven kinds of work.
From the first line on a new home to the last detail in a restaurant build-out, the same hands-on standard carries through.
New construction
Ground-up homes shaped for Tahoe living.
Remodels
Thoughtful changes to the home you already know.
Additions
More room, joined carefully to what is already there.
Restaurant work
Commercial build-outs with a set builder’s eye for detail.
The working standard
Solid work. Fair price. Details that matter.
That has been the goal from the beginning. Good Construction brings personal attention to new homes, remodels, additions, and commercial projects throughout the Tahoe–Truckee area.
